Our Objectives
The objectives of this initiative are centered on strengthening the capacity of vocational training providers to enhance collaboration and deliver impactful environmental education. A key focus is on supporting Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) TVET schools in identifying local needs and developing tailored action plans to effectively provide environmental TVET. This includes designing pedagogical methodologies that foster environmental awareness in the classroom and building the capacity of TVET trainers through challenge-based learning, STEM, social entrepreneurship, and inclusive teaching strategies..
Additionally, the initiative aims to share best practices and role model examples for raising environmental awareness using digital tools.

To build the capacity of TVET educators to use DIY IoT tools, such as Arduinos and sensors, focusing on monitoring solar energy, air quality, and water quality for environmental analysis in the classroom.
