IoT Devices

We use IoT tools to collect, share, and exchange data for automated environmental monitoring. By connecting various devices, we gather real-time information on air quality, temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors. Through seamless communication between devices, we enhance our ability to analyse patterns and trends, leading to more informed decision-making. Additionally, sharing this data with relevant stakeholders, such as researchers, government agencies, and community organisations, fosters collaboration and helps drive collective efforts toward environmental sustainability. Our approach aims to create a more sustainable future by utilising technology to understand and protect our environment.

Sensor Technology

We use sensor technologies to convert various inputs, such as temperature, pressure, light, and motion, into readable signals for sustainable environmental monitoring. By employing these sensors, we can gather real-time data that helps us understand environmental conditions and their impact on ecosystems. For example, temperature sensors can detect climate variations, while light sensors can monitor solar radiation intensity. Pressure sensors contribute valuable insights into atmospheric conditions, and motion sensors track wildlife movements or human activity in sensitive areas. The data collected from these sensors not only aids in scientific research but also supports proactive decision-making regarding the environment and agricultural practices. Arduino Dashboard

SUSTAIN-IT harnesses inputs from IoT and Sensor devices to enhance environmental monitoring and analysis capabilities. This innovative system allows users to collect real-time data on various environmental parameters, such as air quality, temperature, humidity, and soil conditions. By integrating these sensors into an easy-to-use dashboard, VET Teachers and Learners in Namibia, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe can track their environmental impact and make informed decisions based on accurate data.
