“SUSTAIN-IT will facilitate and help us further develop our teaching capacity utilising more ICT and green technologies through the capacitation of our lecturers, tutors and students. The project will also help extend our reach into other areas and sectors such as rural and peri-urban centers thus sustainably bringing critical skills in biomedical skills to the marginalised and disadvantaged youths/communities. SUSTAIN-IT is expected to aid our partnerships and collaboration through training workshops, conferences and other stakeholder engagements. The project is going to help HIPH contribute to other related activities such as sustainably recycling and safely disposing of pharmaceutical/medical wastes; ICT and AI based innovations in Drug Discovery, Design and Development; ICT based models for practical learning in biomedical sciences for Zimbabwe and countries with similar settings among others.”
